Artist statement

My work is inspired by the visual language of modern industrial design: clean lines, structural forms, raw materials, and the quiet power of functional objects. I am drawn to the geometry and restraint found in industrial spaces and contemporary architecture, not necessarily for what they represent, but for their inherent aesthetic qualities.

My practice is driven by a fascination with proportion, texture, repetition, and form. I explore how materials and surfaces interact, allowing composition and visual balance to take precedence over narrative. The work is intentionally open-ended, created to be experienced through shape, scale, contrast, and atmosphere rather than through a specific story or message.

At its core, my work is about aesthetics, the pleasure of seeing something well-constructed, visually resolved, and compelling in its simplicity. I find beauty in the unexpected elegance of industrial forms and seek to translate that sensibility into work that feels contemporary, refined, and quietly powerful.
